Oxford English File

We follow the fantastic English File textbooks by Oxford University Press, known for their effective and engaging approach to language learning.

  • The textbooks is divided into 10 files (chapters),

  • We cover 2 files in a 6 weeks - 1 unit

  • So, the whole course, and the whole textbook, is 5 units, 30 lessons

  • You just book 1 unit at a time, and you don't have to complete the units in the right order!

All course materials are provided online and are easy to access using Google Docs and PDFs. For the best experience, I recommend buying the textbook to support your learning.

Intermediate (B1 → B2):

At this level, you’ll become an independent and confident user of English. You’ll be able to live, work, and navigate daily life in English-speaking countries, expressing yourself in almost any situation.

Upper Intermediate (B2 → C1):

This level unlocks the ability to read, write, and discuss complex ideas and academic topics. Whether it’s studying, appreciating art, or expressing sophisticated thoughts, this is the level for mastering English in depth.

The Two Levels:

How the Courses Work

  • Live Weekly Lessons: Meet your teacher on Zoom once a week for a 60-minute class. We prioritise speaking and answering your questions

  • Self-Study Activities: Reading, Grammar and Vocabulary exercises before the lesson to test your ability before the class. You will get grammar reference documents, vocabulary lists and a pronunciation guide to help you.

  • Weekly writing: Do a short writing task after the lesson to practice the week's Grammar and Vocabulary. Your teacher will give you detailed corrections and written feedback on every writing.
